Abstract

A qualitative-transsectional analysis of the perceptions of 24 young people between 18 and 20 years old from Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico, is presented in relation to the integration of technological devices in daily life, with which they construct meanings in the narratives of these centennials. The theoretical foundation that supports the study is based on authors such as Igarza (2009), Scolari (2008) and Hernández, Pérez and Roco (2023). The results indicate that youth live hyperconnected and that there is an extreme dependence on cell phones to carry out daily activities. Identity is limited to actions and interactions on the network.
