Digital literacy and other literacies in the learning process at the higher education

Abstract

This work focuses on young university students who, in addition to having access to technologies, move in different contexts to use them. Although digital tools are

an instrument for young people that they use in the field of socialization, education and work, in a digitalized world the idea of literacy changes; a revolution is being experienced in terms of the use and operation of Information and Communi- cation Technologies (ICT). This research seeks to identify and analyze the development of digital literacy competencies and other literacies that higher education actors, belonging to three Querétaro universities, have in the teaching-learning process, in a context of digital culture. The theoretical perspective is developed from educommunication and the methodology is based on a predominantly qualitative mixed approach that was carried out in two phases: the first with questionnaires aimed at both teachers and students; and the second phase is based on an action - research design.
